OUR PRODUCTION

ELLBA STYLE collection was produced in close collaboration with our atelier in Paris. We focus on creating high-quality, sustainable pieces that are responsibly sourced and ethically produced.

To create an ELLBA STYLE piece in our Parisian atelier, we followed different steps. I take you with me in this manufacturing process, starting from patterns, through prototypes until the launch of final production.

MANUFACTURING AT OUR ATELIER

PRODUCTION OF PATTERNS

The first step consists of producing the patterns from the technical sheets.

Patterns are produced on paper according to defined body measurements. Once the patterns are ready, they are used as a basis for creating the garment with a 'test' fabric.

PROTOTYPE TEST

The manufacture of the prototype test is a crucial step which precedes the manufacture of the prototype with the final fabric of the garment. The creation of this test is done with a 'test' fabric to first validate the cut, measurements and other details of the garment, the fitting is done directly on a model. This step helps to avoid wasting the final fabric and above all to speed up the stage between validation of the prototype and the launch of production.

PROTOTYPE

Once the test has been validated, it is possible to start manufacturing the prototype. The prototype is made with the final fabric of the garment, as well as the accessories (zip, buttons, etc.).

PRODUCTION

Production can be launched once the prototype has been validated. Production includes the cutting of the different sizes and finally their assembly.
